The Diccionario Griego-Español Project
The Greek-Spanish Dictionary (DGE) is carried out in the Instituto de Lenguas y Culturas del Mediterráneo y Oriente Próximo (ILC) of the Centro de Ciencias Humanas y Sociales (CCHS) of the CSIC (Madrid) under the direction of Francisco R. Adrados and Juan Rodríguez Somolinos and with funds from the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitivity (Ref. FFI2010-20236). It aspires to become the lexicon of ancient Greek more complete and up to date, using modern lexicographical methods in the internal organization of its entries.
This page contains information about the work and the published volumes, as well as abundant complementary bibliography related to the project. In addition to these lexicographic resources, we are very pleased to present the DGE online, first digital edition of the published section (α - ἔξαυος) of the Greek-Spanish Dictionary. All these sections, as well as the proper design of the project's website, are currently being updated and modernized.
